Come, Follow Me—For Individuals and Families is not meant to replace or compete with other good things you are doing. Follow the Spirit’s guidance to determine how to approach your own study of the word of God. You may find it helpful as a guide or aid for personal and family scripture study. You could also use it for home evening. The outlines highlight important principles found in the scriptures, suggest study ideas and activities for individuals and families, and provide places to record your impressions.
We have found that every individual and family in our Ward learns differently and has found ways to make their study more effective. The resources below are some of those that our Ward and friends find most helpful.
The obvious first choice for gospel learning is to go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints website. There are many resources there that can be helpful.
The Scriptures Are Real (TSAR) by Kerry Muhlestein is a podcast where we look at elements of the scriptures that have become real to us.
The Book of Mormon: A Master Class” is a free course focused on helping you come closer to Jesus Christ by seriously study the Book of Mormon. This course will help you better understand the doctrines and storyline in the Book of Mormon as well as its overarching themes.
In addition, this Master Class will help you learn a variety of study skills that will increase your ability to gain insight from scripture. You will also learn about significant works of Book of Mormon scholarship, most of which are freely available online (links provided). Finally, a major outcome of this course is to help you draw closer to God by “abiding by the precepts” of the Book of Mormon.
The teacher in these videos is Jared Halverson, a professional religious educator with over twenty years of experience teaching in and directing religious education programs.

It gives you multiple parallel translations, and links to the original Greek and Hebrew, along with concordances and translations of key terms.
This index provides links from scriptures to the general conference talks, Journal of Discourses speeches, and writings in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith that cite those scriptures. So, for example, suppose you want to know who has cited 1 Ne. 3:7 in general conference; tap on the First Nephi button followed by the 1 Ne. 3 button; there you'll find the answer. Who has quoted Matt. 5:48? Use the New Testament index to find out.
